Everest Poker now regulated in EU member state
March 20, 2009
Everest Poker has annouced that it is now licensed in the European Union member-state of Malta, after parent company Everest Gaming obtained a Maltese remote gaming license. The company claims it is now the largest online poker room to be fully licensed and regulated within Europe
feels that obtaining a European gaming license in Malta demonstrates their commitment to safety and security.
"After completing the stringent application process and meeting the requirements set by the Maltese government, Everest Gaming Limited has been fully recognized as a secure and reliable online gaming destination for Europeans meeting all legal requirements to operate in Europe."
The move ties in nicely with the fact that Everest Poker's player base has been largely European from the start.
